Chastidy Malone is a Beaumont, Texas native and University of Houston graduate. In 2002, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. After completing undergraduate studies, she pursued an advanced degree from Texas Southern University. Chastidy received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in May of 2008.

In addition, Chastidy has successfully passed the National Counselor Examination for Licensure and Counseling and the Jurisprudence Examination, enhancing knowledge of counseling procedures and professional ethics. 

Chastidy has experience in administering social and coping skills training, behavior and symptom management, crisis intervention, anger management, medication-related education, parenting and family skills training and resiliency and disease management. Most of this training was obtained in an agency setting with diverse populations of children, adolescents and families. Chastidy is dedicated to a therapeutic alliance that is honest, respectful and collaborative, to assist the client in maximizing benefits during the therapeutic process.
